Mrs. Adine Allmond Corley, age 90, beloved wife of 65 years to the late Lucius J. "Luke" Corley, Sr., entered into rest on Friday May 9, 2025 at her home in Graniteville.
She is survived by her children, Lucius Jerry (Sherri) Corley, Jr., Cathy (Monty) Murrell, Sarah Merkle, Lynn (Jim) Adams; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Allmond; brother, Smithy Allmond; and two grandchildren, Jerry Lane and Christy Valenzuela.
Mrs. Corley was loved by everyone she met. She loved working in and weed eating around her yard. For many years she was a proud member of the Graniteville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was the Chair person for the Graniteville Christmas Parade during that time. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with family. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Tuesday May 13, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Jackson officiating. The interment will follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Phil Napier, Robert Wise, Thomas Scott, Cecil Scott, Gabriel Kitchings and Joe Morano.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the GVW Fire Department.
