Mr. Alvin Downs Greer, age 80, entered into rest on Thursday July 9, 2026.
He is survived by his children, Julie (Ken) Harris, Tracie Heirs, Alex Greer; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Zach) Moulton, Sarah (Jeffrey) Lanier, Daniel Heirs, Adam Good, Landon Greer; great grandchildren, Aubree Lanier, Noah and Ethan Moulton; and brother, Joey (Tina) Berry
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard C. Greer and Annie Mae Bagwell Berry; and sisters, Yvonne Kearse and Shirley Cooper.
Mr. Greer was a member of Graniteville First Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as an electrician for Aiken Electric Cooperative. He will be deeply missed.
No formal services will be scheduled at this time.
