Benny B. Pou, Sr.

Benny B. Pou, Sr., age 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday August 27, 2026.

He is survived by his sons, Benny B. "Junior" Pou, Jr. (Tina), Robert M. Pou (Holley), William Pou; daughters, Lisa Pritchett, Gloria Turner; stepdaughter, Janie Burkhalter; sister, Susie Tucker; brother, John Tucker; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline "Faye" Pou; parents, Joe Tucker and Dovie Lovie Pou Tucker; brothers, Forrest, Joe and Charles Tucker; and sister, Debbie Tucker.

Benny owned and operated his own business installing and finishing hardwood flooring. He enjoyed collecting bottles and going to church. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched with his testimony.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Tuesday September 1, 2026, at 1PM in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Coles Capps officiating. The interment will immediately follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Aiken. The family will receive friends Monday evening August 31, 2026, from 6-8PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers who will honor Benny are Ryan Key, Pete Abrigo, Edwin Nettles, Chad Taylor, Bryson Pou and Brandon Fountain.
