Bobby Eugene Kirkland

Mr. Bobby Eugene Kirkland, 88, entered into rest on October 17, 2026.

Mr. Kirkland was a skilled master carpenter and took great pride in his work and in providing for his family whom he loved dearly. He was a hardworking man who found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed cheering on his Atlanta Braves, spending time fishing, watching NASCAR races and settling into watching a Western Movie. But nothing meant more to him than his family and the time they shared together. Some of his happiest and most peaceful moments were sitting in his swing with his four-legged companion, his cat, Baby. He will be remembered for his hardworking hands, his love for his family and the simple, special moments they all shared.

Mr. Kirkland is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Irene Kirkland; and sisters, Pam Hawkins and Wanda Kirkland. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Kirkland; daughter, Michelle Kirkland Perkins (Bobby); sisters, Edie Osburn, Vicki Johnson, Norma Jean Williams and Debra Scott; grandchildren, Chrisopher Perkins, Charles Perkins and Cameron Perkins; and great-grandson, CJ Perkins.

A graveside service will be held at 10am, Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Graniteville Cemetery. In lieu of flower, please make donations to The National Kidney Foundation, Attn: Gift Processing, 30 East 33rd St, New York, NY 10016.
