Claude Edward Griffin

GRIFFIN-Mr. Claude Edward Griffin, age 50, of Butler, Georgia, loving husband of Susan Jones Griffin and son of Claude Ellis Griffin and the late Judy Brown Griffin, entered into rest on Saturday, October 11, 2014. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by sons, Robert Alan Griffin and Russell Aaron Griffin both of Butler, Ga.and Christopher Carson of Macon, Ga.; daughters, Kandi Williams of Aiken, S.C. and Amber Kelly of North Augusta, S.C.; a brother, Scottie Alan Griffin of Bath, S.C.; a sister, Kimberly Yvonne Hauser of Aiken, S.C. and five grandchildren. He was born in Aiken County, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Butler, Ga. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Reynolds, Ga. His wife stated that he was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during his short lifespan. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Bath Baptist Church in Bath, S.C. with Rev. Herb Sons officiating. The interment was private.
