Aiken, SC

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Cydney Odom Hartley, 25, of Aiken, who entered eternal rest on May 2, 2026.

Cydney was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her. Filled with happiness, warmth, and a vibrant spirit, she had a remarkable gift for bringing laughter and joy wherever she went. Her smile was contagious, her heart was generous, and her love for family and friends was unwavering. Cydney devoted herself wholeheartedly to those she loved, and the bonds she shared with her family were a treasured part of her life.

A 2019 graduate of Midland Valley High School, Cydney served as the office manager at Odom Chiropractic, where she worked side by side and shared a close relationship with her father. She has touched countless lives with her caring nature and gentle spirit. She had a special way of making patients feel seen, valued, and comfortable—an extension of the compassion that defined her life.

Cydney was an incredible wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She found immeasurable joy in her family, especially in the precious relationships she shared with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved deeply. Her love extended to every corner of her life, including her beloved dogs, Kirby and Hunni, who brought her so much happiness.

Above all, Cydney shared a beautiful and deeply devoted love with her husband and soulmate, Kyle. Though they were blessed with only two and a half years of marriage, the life they built together was filled with laughter, unwavering love, and treasured memories that will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew them. Their bond was a true reflection of enduring love and partnership. Cydney also shared an especially close and cherished relationship with her mother, Tanya. Their connection was rooted in unconditional love, friendship, and steadfast support, and they remained each other’s source of strength through every season of life.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Kyle Hartley; her loving parents, Tanya and Jerry Odom, Sr.; her beloved siblings, Austin Odom, Jerry Odom, Jr., and Amanda Odom; her cherished in-laws, Kevin and Kristi Hartley; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kendall and Isaiah Boyer; her adored nieces and nephews, Emmersyn Boyer, Stetson Boyer, Cameron Odom, Shine Simpkins, and Chandler Odom, expected in September; her maternal grandmothers, Patricia Weeks and Martha Johnson; her aunts and uncles, Tiffany (Robert) Coleman, Richie Odom, Brie Johnson, Brandon (Sarah) Johnson, and Tracy Odom; a special little girl, Sloan Hanshew, who held a treasured place in Cydney’s heart; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfathers, Edward Johnson, Jr. and Eugene Weeks, Sr.; her maternal grandmother, Leslie Johnson; her paternal grandparents, Elliott and Gail Odom; and her paternal uncle, James Odom.

The family will receive friends during a visitation at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at the church on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Jerry Odom, Jr., Isaiah Boyer, Taylor Odom, Devin Hanshew, Dylan Galloway, and Ben Stallings.

Though her time here was far too brief, Cydney’s beautiful spirit, infectious laughter, and deep love for others will remain a lasting gift to all who knew her. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
