Douglas Hubert Burke

Mr. Douglas Hubert Burke, 69, entered into rest on September 12, 2026.

Mr. Burke was an avid Atlanta Falcons football fan and enjoyed spending time fishing. He had a special love for food, especially Popeyes chicken. These simple pleasures brought him great joy and will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Mr. Burke is survived by his sister, Patsy Jenkins (Danny); brother, Steve Burke (Becky); a niece, nephew, and aunts and uncles who loved him dearly.

Mr. Burke is preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Louise Burke.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 18, 2026 at the Jackson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Clifford Rushton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers who will honor Mr. Burke will be his cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
