Edward "Ed" Schander

Mr. Edward Schander, 60, entered into rest on August 2, 2026.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia Schander; daughters, Elizabeth Darr, Rebecca Schander and Addison Marshall; brothers, Larry Schander Jr. (Shannon), John Schander (JoAnn), Thomas Cory and Ronald Craven (Nicole); granddaughter, Emma Darr; sister-in-law, Marilyn Weeks (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Ed was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Aiken, SC. Ed was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan and loved sports. He also enjoyed listening to music. Ed loved people and never missed an opportunity to share a conversation, making friends wherever he went.

A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 8th at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Pastor Steve Hanna officiating.  A visitation will be held from 10:30am until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016, Attn: Gift Processing. 

At the family's request, please do not wear black to Ed's memorial service.
