Frances Carter Jones

Frances Carter Jones, age 85, beloved wife of the late Charles W. Jones, Jr., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday February 7, 2026.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Curtis (Cathy) Jones, Kevin (Ashley) Jones; grandchildren, Ethan Jones, Drake (Ashlyn) Jones, Dylan (Shaylah) Jones, Daniel Jones; great grandchildren, Bainton, Leighton, Harlow and Silas Jones; sisters, Claudia (Ronnie) Moore, Shelvedene Williams; and brother, Norman (Jan) Carter.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Jessie Mae Carter; brother, Vernon Carter; brother-in-law, John Williams; and sister-in-law, Anne Carter.

Mrs. Jones faithfully played the organ at Redds Branch Baptist Church, using her love of music to glorify God and serve her church family. She treasured traveling throughout the United States with her beloved husband of 60 years, Charles, sharing a lifetime of memories together. A humble servant guided by her faith, she consistently put others before herself, continuing to care for those around her even while living in assisted living. She was a true giver, living out Christ's love through generosity, compassion and a heart always willing to share.

The family will receive friends on Thursday February 12, 2026 from 12pm until 2pm at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home in Graniteville. Graveside services for Mrs. Jones will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Mrs. Frances Carter Jones.
