Frank Travis Spradley

Mr. Frank Travis Spradley, 41, of Jackson, Mississippi, entered into rest on June 23, 2026.

Mr. Spradley earned a PHD and worked as an Associate Professor, Director of Basic Science Research in Surgery at the University of Mississippi. He had a beautiful gift of being able to play the piano and had a green thumb. Mr. Spradley adored his fur babies, Max, Daisy and Zydeco. Above all, he was a loving, son, brother and uncle to his family.

Mr. Spradley is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Widener Spradley. Survivors include his father, Frank Spradley, Jr.; siblings, Brett Spradley (Krista) and Glenn Spradley; niece and nephews; Levi, Cooper and Willow Spradley; aunt, Katie Yonce, who was like a second mother; uncle, Billy Widener; and special and dear friend, Betsy Davis.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11am at Breezy Hill Baptist Church in Graniteville with Rev. Gene Daggerhart officiating. Interment will follow at Vaucluse Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Breezy Hill Baptist Church, 612 Ascauga Lake Rd #3401, Graniteville, SC 29829. Pallbearers who will honor him are: Justin Snipes, Josh Snipes, Taylor Widener, Billy Widener, Ryan Snipes and Adam Hamilton.
