Mr. Calvin Freddie Busbee, age 77, beloved husband of over 51 years to Mrs. Patricia Jackson Busbee, entered into rest on Wednesday November 4, 2026 at his home in Trenton, SC.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Neil (Crystal) Busbee, Kimberly Ann (Ray) Taylor; grandchildren, Neely Busbee, Tyler Busbee, Gabe Taylor; great granddaughter, Harper Eleanor Wyatt; and close friend and cousin, Ned Busbee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Cornelia S. Busbee.
Mr. Busbee worked as a heavy equipment operator for AT&T for many years. He attended the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Trenton in his youth, and the Old Time Gospel Church in later years. Freddie loved hunting and fishing, being outdoors, fixing stuff and was a big time "prankster". He was slow to speak and slow to anger. He was a humble man. Freddie loved joking around, he loved his dog and he deeply loved his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Saturday November 7, 2026 at 12PM at the Old Time Gospel Church in Trenton, SC with Bishop Phillip Napier and Rev. Ray Taylor officiating. The interment will follow at the Busbee Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening November 6, 2026 from 6-8pm at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home in Graniteville.
Jackson Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with these arrangements.
