Mr. Gordon Willard Leopard, Sr., age 94, beloved husband of 55 years to the late Betty Joyce Williams Leopard, entered into rest on Sunday July 12, 2026, at his home in Warrenville, SC.

He is survived by his sons, Gordon W. Leopard, Jr. (Kathy), Freddie A. Leopard, Sr. (Stacey), James D. Leopard; special niece, Mary Mitchell; grandchildren, Gordon W. Leopard, III (Jill), Joel Leopard (Nicole), Denise Farrel (Chuck), Angel Riggs (Steven), Audie "Dean" Leopard, Jr. (Dena), Freddie A. Leopard, Jr. (Christie), Ashley Starnes (Garrett), Logan Grimes (Emily); twenty one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; sister, Wyomie McRae; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Odell Leopard, Sr. and Iris Neal Jordan Leopard; son and daughter in law, Audie Dean Leopard, Sr. (Becky); sisters, Doris Millican, Mary Mutarielli, Nell Leopard; and brother, Freddie Odell Leopard, Jr.

Mr. Leopard worked for 41 years at the Savannah River Site as a Senior Reactor Operator, having been part of the team that installed the very first nuclear reactor at Savannah River Site. He enjoyed gardening and would have a big garden each year. Mr. Leopard lived a life of generosity and would give you anything you needed to succeed. He also lived a life of protection and true fatherhood for all. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched in the 94 years that God granted him on earth.

A funeral service honoring his life and legacy will be held on Thursday July 16, 2026, in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 11am until the time of the service at 1pm.The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Gordon Leopard, III, Joel Leopard, Dean Leopard, Freddie Leopard, Jr., Logan Grimes and Kenny Burkett. Chandon Leopard will serve as an alternate pallbearer.

Jackson Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
