Irene Hancock Baughman

Ms. Irene Hancock Baughman, 95, entered into rest on October 28, 2026.

Ms. Baughman had a heart for caring for others and found great joy in helping those around her. She was a member of Eureka Old Time Gospel Church. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and was an amazing cook who loved preparing delicious meals for her family and friends.

Ms. Baughman is preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Bo” Baughman; parents, Joe and Beatrice Hancock; and siblings, Benny Hancock, Joe Hancock, Evelyn Harris, and Donie Baughman. Survivors include her daughters, Lillie Franklin (Larvis) and Ann Duffie (Raymond); siblings, Betty Franklin and Snap Hancock (Alice); grandchildren, Telina Salley (Sam), Nicole Palmer (Jason) and Steve Goss (Kim); great-grandchildren, Stephanie Hawkins (Ben), Ealan Miller, Campton Salley, Anna Palmer and Maggie Palmer; and great-great grandchildren, Dexter Hawkins and Ash Hawkins.

A graveside service will be held at 11am, Monday, November 2, 2026 at Vaucluse Cemetery with Rev. John Harbin officiating.
