Larry M. Lythgoe, Sr.

Larry Lythgoe Sr., 67, of Graniteville, SC, passed away on May 3, 2026. Larry was born April 30, 1959, in Chesterfield, VA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Charles Lythgoe, and his brother, Danny Lythgoe.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lula Lythgoe; his children Larry Lythgoe Jr. (Ciara), Traci Banks (Wayne) and Julie Johnson (Brent); and his brothers, Tommy Lythgoe (Connie) and Rusty Lythgoe (Laurie). He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Amanda Blackwell (Seth), Cameron Banks (Savannah), Lauren Mitcham (Zach), Hunter Johnson (Cassie), Dakota Banks (Bri), Kylei Falcon (Caleb), Will Lythgoe, and Alexus Lythgoe; along with his great-grandchildren: Zoie, Jaxon, Harper, Jameson, and Easton.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, and his truck.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Banks, Hunter Johnson, Dakota Banks, Will Lythgoe, Seth Blackwell, Zach Mitcham, and Caleb GoMillion.

The family will receive friends and family at the home of Amanda and Seth Blackwell.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 4:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home in Graniteville, SC.
