Linda Sue Collins

Mrs. Linda Sue Collins, age 76, beloved wife of 52 years to Mr. Howard "Bubba" Collins, entered into rest on Monday July 21, 2025.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Vicki Lynn Rodriguez; brother, Ricky Lower; sister, Vicky Underwood; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Lower and Margie Helen Holley.

Mrs. Collins was retired from the textile industry as she worked as an operator for Proctor and Gamble. In her earlier years she enjoyed fishing. She loved her "fur babies" and had several through the years. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own. Mrs. Collins was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 2pm in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Vollie Gibbs to officiate and James Cumbee, Sr. to deliver the eulogy. The interment will follow at the Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: James Cumbee, Sr., James "Jay" Cumbee, Jr., Jason Cumbee, James Cumbee, III, Abigail Cumbee and Isaiah Davis.
