Lucy K Kneece

KNEECE-Entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 7, 2010, Mrs. Lucy Kneece Kneece, age 91, of Graniteville, S. C., wife of the late Charlie Kneece and daughter of the late John and Emma Ridlehoover Kneece. She is survived by daughters, Mary (Ronnie) Hawthorn of Winberley, Texas and Patsy Jarrett of Aiken, S. C.; sons, Charles Kneece & Milledge (Annice) Kneece both of Trenton, S. C. and Bobby (Twyla) Kneece of North Augusta, S. C.; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Harold E. Jarrett and a daughter-in-law, Margaret B. Kneece. She was born in Saluda County, S. C. but has spent most of her life in Graniteville. She had a degree in homemaking as she successfully raised five children. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Graniteville, where she kept the nursery for sixty-one tiredless years. She loved her family, her church family and her many friends. Needless to say, she will be greatly missed by her family and everyone whose lives she touched during the many years that God granted her on this earth. Now, life for her has not ended; just only begun in a better land where she can rejoice with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who she loved supremely and receive her much deserved “Crown of Life” reward. A celebration of her life service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Graniteville with Rev. Steve Hendricks and Rev. Milford Oswald officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Steve White, Bruce Herring, Larry Harris, Steven Strother, Bruce Strother and Brian Stroter. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight, Wednesday, June 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
