Mary Ann Kniphfer

Mrs. Mary Ann Kniphfer, age 83, beloved wife of nearly 56 years to Mr. Otis Kniphfer entered into rest on Sunday March 22, 2026.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter in law, Dora Kniphfer; grandchildren, Hunter Addy, Parker Kniphfer, Luke Kniphfer; sisters, Dorothy Keaton, Evelyn (Steve) Lineberry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Elva Lee Sheppard; step father, Clifford Beard; son, Michael Kniphfer; and sister, Linda Wood.

Mrs. Kniphfer worked as a Weaver and Operator at Owens Corning Fiberglas before her retirement. She was a member of Kedron Baptist Church in Aiken. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Her joy and devotion was completely wrapped up in her husband and grandsons.

A private family graveside service will be held on Friday March 27, 2026 at 2pm at Aiken Memorial Gardens officiated by Rebekah Burger.

Pallbearers will be: Hunter Addy, Parker Kniphfer, Swain Keaton, Gary Burger, Seth Hartley, Michael Bartley. Curran Hartley to serve as an alternate.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
