Matthew Lee Haupfear

Mr. Matthew Lee Haupfear, age 42, entered into rest on Saturday August 8, 2026 at his home in Warrenville, SC.

He is survived by his parents, Raymond "Randy" and Kathryn "Kathy" Willis Haupfear; brother, Benjamin Haupfear (Kaitlyn); nieces, McKinley, Hallie and Maddie Haupfear. Matthew was an uncle to many and had many special nieces, nephews and friends that survive him.

Matthew was a member of the RECing Crew, which is a recreational organization for disabled adults. He enjoyed bowling with the "Ally Cats", who are associated with the RECing Crew. Mathew also enjoyed other sports which included NASCAR where he was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. Both Senior and Junior. He also enjoyed football. He was a fan of the SC Gamecocks, the Texas Longhorns and the Citadel. He also enjoyed watching the Carolina Panthers play. Matthew will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday August 20, 2026 at 3pm in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Bates officiating. The family receive visitors from 2pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.

The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Matt to his church, Anchored in Christ Fellowship; The RECing Crew of North Augusta; or The Tri-Development Center of Aiken.
