Mattie Jean Bahlhorn

Mattie Jean Bahlhorn, 93, of Graniteville, SC entered into Heavenly Rest on September 30, 2026 at 9:35am at a nursing home in Florida.

She was Born on Rabbit Trail Road in Graniteville at her parents' home in 1933 and was the daughter of Will and Lolo-Mae Whisenant. She lived most of her life in the Horse Creek Valley, and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Clearwater, SC. 

The last of her brothers and sisters, she is survived by her sons, Landon and James Whaley, and Wayne Nappier, as well as countless grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of her life will be held at 1pm, Friday October 9, 2026 at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, SC.  She will be laid to rest beside her late husband Edward J. Bahlhorn, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 2648 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC, 29829.
