Robert "Bobby" William Roth

Mr. Robert “Bobby” William Roth, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 22, 2026.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elsie Roth; son, John Roth; sisters-in-law, Bridjet Woods (Wayne), Diane Hutto, Brenda Lowe Reyes (Charlie) and Vickie McCravey; niece, Amanda Sims; nephews, Daron Hutto, David Hutto and Dana Hutto; numerous great-nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; and his beloved cat, Troubles who he adored.

Bobby is preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Barlett; brothers-in-law, David Hutto and Robert McCravy; and his Pastor and Mentor, Sherill Green.

Bobby had a deep loved for people and was known for accepting everyone without judgement. He was a proud United States Army Veteran who loved his country and had great respect for the military and those who served. Bobby earned the most highest honor serving in the military in the state of South Carolina. Bobby earned a degree in theology and loved his church. He devoted much of his life studying and sharing the Word of God with others. He had an online prayer line to those in need and spent hours answering questions and telling others about Jesus. He was an avid reader, including his monthly subscriptions to his favorite magazines. He also found joy in watching his birds and squirrels outside. Bobby was a devoted USC Gamecock fan and looked forward to watching PBR, especially the Nashville Stampede, on Fridays with his wife and his son. Bobby adored his family and the time he spent with them meant more than anything. His faith, kindness and love for others will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Unity Outreach Church. The family will receive friends on hour prior at the church.
