Mrs. Ruby Savannah Doolittle (Freeman), 94, entered into rest on Wednesday August 6, 2025 surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Harold Freeman; parents, Fred and Beulah Wall; and grandson Scottie White.
She is survived by her husband, David Doolittle; sister, Shirley Hill; daughters, Yvonne Matthews, Susan (Jerry) White; 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Doolittle owned and operated Freeman Service Station for over 25 years, a job she took much joy in. She was a people person, and enjoyed working with the public. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and traveling to the mountains. More than anything she loved her family. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
A Funeral Service, celebrating her life, will be held at the Chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home on Monday August 11, 2025 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Clint Jackson to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday August 10, 2025 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Keith Langley, Sherman Carpenter, Cory Doolittle, Brad Dickey, Jessie Spradley, and Brennan Feagin.
