Stanley Alonzo Redd, 72, of Vaucluse, SC, entered into eternal rest on May 14, 2026.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 52 years, Phyllis Satcher Redd; son, Stuart William Redd (Nikki); brothers, Richard Redd (Sharon), Andy Redd (Roseanne) and Ken Redd; special brother-in-law, Richard Johnson (Emily); grandchildren, Anna Grace Redd, Katelyn Redd, Emily Redd, Satcher Redd, Wyatt Redd and Whitt Redd; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. He is also survived by his sweet dog, Harley.
He is preceded in death by his son, Kyle Redd; and his parents, Alonzo and Roberta Redd.
Mr. Redd was a 1972 graduate of Leavelle McCampbell “Rocks” School. He worked as an electrician and multi-craft rigger at various places including, Gregg Division, International Paper and later retired from Kimberly Clark. Mr. Redd served as a deacon and trustee at First Baptist Church of Vaucluse. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and gardening.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Monday, May 18th at 12PM at Vaucluse First Baptist Church with Pastor Sean Fulton officiating. The interment will follow at Vaucluse Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2026 from 3-5PM at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home.
Pallbearers who will honor Mr. Redd are, Satcher Redd, Wyatt Redd, Whitt Redd, Matthew Murphy, Blake Whaley and Brian Redd.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Derrick Redd, Stephen Redd, Mitch Redd, Brad Dyer, Noah Murphy, Richard Johnson, Keith McGee, John Reynolds, Brent Owenby and Mike Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vaucluse First Baptist Church: 2 Church Street. Aiken, SC 29801.
