William Thomas Gilliam

William Thomas Gilliam, 77, entered into rest on October 8, 2026.

Mr. Gilliam served as an assistant pastor to Rev. Kitty Steel of Gloverville Church of God of Prophecy. He dedicated 32 years of his life to working as a truck driver and in his earlier years as a mechanic. He enjoyed visiting flea markets, fishing and animals. He was known for his kind heart and willingness to lend a helping hand.

Mr. Gilliam is survived by his life partner of 18 years, Virginia Fulghum; sons, William and TJ Gilliam; sister, Dianne; and several grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12pm, on Sunday, November, 8, 2026 at the Church of God of Prophecy directly following the church service.
